While reading an interview with legendary Nintendo designer Gunpei Yokoi and Yukihito Morikawa, I was drawn towards how the ability of filling meaning through a player's cognition takes place in a game. Living Fields emerged from that principle.
Stripped of color and complex components, I wanted to see:
How can I bring character to the simplest component, a dot, and emerge motion, proximity, and tension through just the dots itself ?
The interaction feels alive not because it is visually rich, but because the interactions generate tension, rhythm, and emergent patterns.
